Job Description

Expert knowledge as an Oracle DBA, qualification according to Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional or comparable, current project experience > 5 years
Very good knowledge of setting up Oracle WebLogic Server as well as managed servers hosting OAS and ORDS, experience > 5 years
Good knowledge of Oracle Dataguard, experience > 2 years
Advanced Linux knowledge (shell, file management, processes and devices, resource monitoring, networks)

 

Job Responsibilities

This profile focuses on the middleware and application tier. They manage the software environments that connect users to the database.
Core Responsibilities:
Managing the Oracle WebLogic Server domains, administration consoles, and managed servers hosting OAS and ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services for APEX).
Configuring data sources (JDBC connections) that bridge WebLogic to the Exadata database.
Handling application-level security, SSL/TLS certificates, deployments, patches, and monitoring server memory/JVM logs.
Scope in your stack: They ensure that the OAS reporting portal is accessible and running smoothly, and that the ORDS layer is routing traffic correctly to your APEX apps.
