Trainee Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Trainee Manual QA Engineer to join our Product team and start a career in software quality assurance while working on our IPTV / OTT platform used by telecom operators, hotels, and service providers worldwide.

You Are Our Ideal Candidate If You Have

• Solid theoretical foundation in software testing — equivalent to completing a QA course or self-study program. We don't expect commercial experience, but we do expect you to come in knowing the theory.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA role within it.
• Knowledge of test documentation and defect reporting practices.
• High attention to detail — ability to notice inconsistencies, edge cases, and unexpected behavior that others might miss.
• Analytical mindset — able to break down complex flows and ask the right questions before testing.
• Critical thinking — willingness to question requirements, not just execute them.
• Basic understanding of web technologies and client-server applications.
• Upper-intermediate English level 
  
  Nice to Have
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools.
• Experience working with API testing tools.
• Familiarity with Linux/macOS command line environments.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Experience with personal, academic, or pet projects related to software testing.
• Familiarity with IPTV / OTT products.
  
  Key Responsibilities
• Learn and apply software testing best practices under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Execute test cases and perform functional testing.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation.
• Identify, document, and verify software defects.
• Participate in testing web, mobile, and Smart TV applications.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers.
• Contribute to product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate testing and project documentation.
