Senior AWS Certified DevOps Engineer/SRE

The full production cycle IT company Nabuto specializes in the development of software products/services in the field of information technologies.

We operate in the FinTech/trading domain, running a data-intensive platform that processes millions of real-time events. The environment is low-latency, high-load, and engineered for continuous availability.

We’re building a high-performance cryptocurrency trading platform and looking for a Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to own the reliability, resilience, and availability of the infrastructure behind our real-time trading system.

This role is heavily focused on platform stability and high availability. You’ll be responsible for designing and operating fault-tolerant AWS cloud and Kubernetes environments, improving disaster recovery and failover strategies, and ensuring the platform can handle high traffic and unpredictable market conditions without downtime. We need someone who is deeply familiar with production operations in mission-critical environments where reliability, latency, and recovery time matter.
You’ll work on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability, incident response and performance optimization, helping the engineering organization ship safely while maintaining strict uptime standards. A strong infrastructure-as-code mindset, operational ownership, and experience building HA systems at scale are essential.

Responsibilities

• Designing and operating fault-tolerant AWS cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Improving disaster recovery and failover strategies.
• Ensuring the platform can handle high traffic and unpredictable market conditions without downtime.
• Infrastructure automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE.
• Deep, hands-on AWS experience — VPC design, EKS, ECS, Api Gateway, MSK, AmazonMQ, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and related services in production.
• Exposure to security tooling: vulnerability scanning, secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager), and audit logging.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise — cluster management, Helm, resource optimization, RBAC, and troubleshooting in real production workloads.
• Networking, Load Balancing.
• Virtual Machines (Linux).
• Infrastructure-as-code fluency — Terraform or equivalent; version-controlled, peer-reviewed infrastructure changes.
• Logging, Monitoring.
• Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with multi-region or multi-AZ deployment strategies and automated failover patterns.
• Leveraging of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Amazon Kiro) as part of the daily engineering workflow.
• Master’s degree focused on Computer Science/ Systems/Networks or similar specialization.

Nice to Have

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka in production — topic management, consumer group monitoring, offset management, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ in production — cluster management, exchanges/channels/connections management and performance tuning.
• Experience with service mesh tooling (Cilium preferred) for inter-service observability and traffic management.
• GitOps experience (ArgoCD is preferred).
