Middle Automation QA Engineer

🚀 Join Our Team as an Automation QA Engineer!
White Test Lab is looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join a long-term project and help ensure high-quality software delivery through effective test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, including 2+ years with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, OOP principles, and automation framework architecture (Page Object Model or similar patterns), including parallel execution and cross-environment configuration.
• Experience with API testing, SQL database validation, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling), Docker, Git/Git Flow, and Agile development practices.
• Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing, test reporting tools (Allure, ReportPortal), and modern QA best practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools, visual regression testing tools (Applitools, Percy, Playwright snapshots), or similar modern automation approaches is a plus.
• Experience testing payment integrations, POS systems, or e-commerce platforms is a strong plus.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for daily communication with the client's distributed team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Architect, develop, and maintain automated test suites and automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Design and integrate automated testing into the client's GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline, ensuring fast and reliable feedback for the development team.
• Collaborate with Manual QA Engineers and developers on test strategy, test coverage, and release quality.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, optimize execution performance, and expand automated coverage for critical business workflows.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, maintain automation documentation and reporting standards, and communicate test execution results to stakeholders after releases.
• Stay up to date with emerging automation and AI-assisted testing tools, adopting new approaches where they improve quality and efficiency.
