Junior QA
We are looking for a Junior Manual QA with 1+ year of experience to join a long-term product in the logistics domain for a U.S.-based customer. You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure stable and reliable releases by validating business-critical features, exploring edge cases, and maintaining clear QA documentation.
Required for this role
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in software quality assurance
- Strong background in manual testing, including functional, smoke, and regression testing
- Understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices
- Analytical thinking and a structured approach to troubleshooting and issue investigation
- Experience with QA and development tools such as Jira, Git, browser DevTools, and test management systems
- Practical experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries
- Ability to create and maintain clear QA artifacts: test cases, checklists, and bug reports
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and clear communication
- Upper-Intermediate English level (written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of test automation concepts
- Interest in expanding into automation or improving test coverage
Your responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of product features, focusing on functionality, UX, business logic, and edge cases
- Validate new functionality and ensure stability of existing features through regression and exploratory testing
- Review and analyze requirements to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and potential risks
- Document and track defects with clear steps to reproduce, expected and actual results, and environment details
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to align on requirements and quality expectations
- Participate in test planning, refinement sessions, and discussions around test strategy
- Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support effective resolution
- Maintain structured and up-to-date QA documentation, including test cases, checklists, and release notes
- Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality
