QA Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced and proactive QA Lead with 3+ years of hands-on quality assurance experience to join our client's product team. This is a leadership role where you'll own the QA process end-to-end, mentor a team of engineers, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the highest product quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Proven experience leading QA teams of 5+ people
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies for web and mobile applications
• Deep hands-on experience in mobile testing
• Practical experience applying various testing techniques and requirements analysis
• Solid skills in test documentation creation, maintenance, and reporting
• Experience estimating testing scope and timelines for product features
• Ability to prioritize testing work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with PO, PM, and clients
• Understanding of automation testing principles and practices

• English level — Upper-Intermediate or Advanced

   

Nice to Have

• Experience building QA processes from scratch or actively improving existing ones
• Understanding of development process optimization approaches aimed at improving product quality
• Experience testing AI-powered features
• Hands-on experience with: BrowserStack, Postman, DevTools, TestFlight, Swagger, Firebase, SQL, Jira, TestRail
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Claude Code) to improve and accelerate QA workflows
• Experience working with feature flags and A/B testing

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and define clear acceptance criteria for product features
• Monitor and enforce compliance with testing processes across the QA team
• Review and oversee the creation of test artifacts by QA engineers
• Supervise and coordinate the overall testing process across projects
• Execute functional testing on web and mobile platforms
• Participate in project planning and sprint ceremonies
• Report testing results, quality metrics, and status to stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with the Automation QA team
• Participate in meetings with Product Owners, Project Managers, and clients

• Conduct regular 1-on-1s with QA engineers to support their growth and performance

Work Schedule

Full-time working day in our office (Lviv or Kyiv, flexible hours) or full-time remote. 

Interview Stages

 — Сall with Recruiter (30 minutes)

 — Interview with QA Lead and PM of the project (1 hour)

— Final interview with the client (1 hour)
