Senior Business Analyst

Numerical Technologies Ltd is a leading provider of custom software solutions and services specializing in risk, limits, and regulatory capital. Right now, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. 

Project: Modernization of an investment management platform, transforming legacy portfolio and trading systems into a modern, scalable solution while maintaining business continuity. 

What you will be doing: 

• Analyze and document business processes across portfolio management, trade lifecycle, and fund accounting workflows. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a large-scale modernization program. 
• Gather and translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 
• Create and maintain process maps, data mappings, impact assessments, and transformation documentation. 
• Support integration testing, business validation, and migration readiness activities. 
• Prepare executive-ready documentation, decision logs, and stakeholder sign-off materials. 

What we are looking for: 

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments. 
• Strong experience in Asset, Investment and Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domains. 
• Solid understanding of portfolio workflows, trade lifecycle, fund accounting, and investment operations. 
• Proven track record in legacy modernization, digital transformation, or platform migration initiatives. 
• Strong requirements engineering skills, including functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 
• Ability to create process maps, workflow diagrams, data flows, and business documentation. 
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, relational databases, and system integrations. 
• Experience analyzing legacy systems and extracting business rules from technical documentation, SQL, or database objects. 
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills. 
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams. 
• Upper-intermediate level of English or above.
