Senior Java Software Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy proprietary software solutions end-to-end — from concept to production
• Evolve and extend our modern tech stack: Spring Boot, Java, Vaadin, Docker Swarm, GitLab CI, Oracle
• Raise code quality through reviews, refactoring, and clean architecture
• Improve the developer experience — better tooling, faster feedback loops, less friction
• Drive the migration of legacy systems (C++, Ruby, Java 8) to the modern stack — with real impact in mind, not just a technology swap
• Automate manual processes and model business logic in software
• Explore and integrate AI tools and LLMs into development and business workflows

Share knowledge with the team through tech talks, pair programming, and everyday collaboration

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in application development with strong command of Java and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of maintainable, well-structured software architecture
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle, and ORMs such as Hibernate / Spring Data JPA
• Familiarity with Docker, containerized deployments, and CI/CD with GitLab
• Hands-on mentality — you tackle problems rather than manage them; legacy code doesn’t scare you
• Curiosity about AI technologies and LLMs, and how they can enhance engineering workflows
