DevOps Engineer with Software Development Experience (AWS)

A global product technology company operating in the urban mobility and transportation domain. The organization builds large-scale, real-time platforms that power complex mobility systems across multiple regions worldwide. Its engineering culture is strongly focused on scalability, system reliability, and continuous improvement of digital infrastructure that supports millions of daily operations.

Your tasks:

• Define, evolve, and enforce infrastructure standards across engineering teams
• Design and develop internal tooling for managing microservices-based infrastructure
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and reusable deployment templates (Git-based workflows)
• Operate and enhance cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based environments at scale
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure safe, consistent, and well-governed changes across environments
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in critical production systems
• Design and implement automation for incident remediation and prevention
• Contribute to architecture decisions and drive platform scalability initiatives

Required experience and skills:

• 5+ years of overall experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-related roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on scripting/programming experience (Python preferred) with a strong software engineering mindset.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / SRE roles in production environments
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Helm and Argo CD
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP / Azure)
• 1+ year of experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Familiarity with observability stacks (logging, metrics, tracing), Prometheus, Grafana.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, and database technologies (SQL & NoSQL)
• Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems administration and internals
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Background in designing and operating highly distributed, high-load systems
• Familiarity with observability stacks (logging, metrics, tracing)
• Experience working in complex, multi-team engineering organizations

Working conditions
