Power BI developer

About Us: Fractal is a dynamic and innovative AI company that is committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Power BI developer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the effort to gather requirements and design in order to develop and implement Microsoft Power BI solutions in Microsoft Azure environment applying best practices to the development lifecycle
• Lead and manage architecture solutions as well as support and development of ad hoc and long-term Microsoft BI solutions and Power BI reports
• Working with end-users to design and build dashboards and customizations to meet their requirements
• Oversee design of data models and designs required to implement performant Microsoft BI solutions and Power BI reports
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to performance, environments, monitoring and operability of Power BI service (dashboards/reports)
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT units
• Propose and promote design and development best practices in Power BI solutions
• Work with IT team closely to perform data extraction and data transformation processes to create the data set required for the dashboard
• Scale, maintain and improve existing solutions

• Prepare holistic documentations (process and technical) to enable proper knowledge transfer of both process and solution to the production team

   

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years in Analytics/Visualizations, with a solid project portfolio
• Strong experience in Power BI, including DAX and M languages
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience of defining and implementing Power BI architecture and deployment models for a range of use cases
• Hands-on working experience with Power BI to author queries, datasets, visuals & reports
• Experience of defining and configuring the security model within Power BI deployments

• Upper-intermediate English or above, both spoken and written, is a must
