General QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who will become the first QA specialist on the project and take ownership of building the entire quality assurance process from scratch.

This role requires a strong combination of hands-on testing expertise, test automation skills, and the ability to design and implement scalable QA processes that support rapid product growth.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices across the project.
• Design and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, including manual and automated testing.
• Create and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, testing reports).
• Define and implement testing architecture suitable for a scalable product environment.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end testing using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution during deployments.
• Participate in requirements analysis and provide quality-related recommendations.
• Define testing coverage, release quality gates, and test execution strategy.

Requirements

• Experience setting up QA and testing processes from scratch on a project.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and test management practices.
• Ability to explain and implement:
  • test case creation and maintenance;
  • testing architecture design;
  • test strategy definition;
  • CI/CD testing integration;
  • test execution approaches and quality gates.
• Commercial experience with Playwright and TypeScript for at least 2 years.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Strong experience with integrating automated testing into scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level (B2+) or higher.
