Senior / Lead Golang Engineer (AI-First Product)

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Golang Engineer to join an exciting long-term project focused on building an AI-powered tourism platform.

This is not a traditional coding role.

We are looking for engineers who can deliver features end-to-end using modern AI-assisted development tools, with a strong preference for Claude Code and similar agentic AI solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial experience with Golang

    (exceptionally strong candidates with 4+ years may also be considered)

Proven hands-on experience building and delivering production-ready features

Strong experience using AI coding tools in daily development workflows

    (Claude Code is highly preferred)

Demonstrable examples of AI-first engineering practices are required during the application process

Experience leading delivery within a team:

breaking down tasks

coordinating engineering efforts

participating in planning

communicating with stakeholders

facilitating delivery outcomes

Previous formal Lead title is not mandatory — candidates who acted as de facto tech leads within squads are highly welcomed

Strong English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate / Advanced)

Self-driven mindset and ownership mentality

Responsibilities

Build and deliver product features end-to-end using Golang and AI-assisted development workflows

Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders

Drive delivery processes within the team

Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making

Work in a highly autonomous, fast-moving engineering environment
