GoHighLevel Expert / CRM Automation Lead
Real Estate Bees is a U.S. real estate lead marketplace operating since 2017. We generate thousands of motivated-seller leads a month through SEO, PPC, YouTube and social, and route them to real estate investors across the country. We run 100+ websites and we're building automation, CRM and AI infrastructure across all of it. GoHighLevel sits at the center of that โ and we're now hiring the first person to own it completely.
Why this role exists
This is a new position. We're not backfilling someone; we're creating a function that didn't exist before. Until now, GHL has been set up reactively โ functional enough, but far from what it should be. We want the person in this seat to define what "done right" looks like, build it, and own the outcome.
GHL touches lead routing, follow-up, attribution and most of our customer communication. More importantly, it sits directly in the path of two numbers that matter most to our business: revenue and refund rate. A lead that routes wrong, follows up late, or never gets verified is a lead that either doesn't convert or gets refunded. You'll own the system that determines both.
What ownership means here
You own the GoHighLevel direction outright. You decide what to automate, how to structure workflows, which integrations to build, and in what order โ then you build them. You're accountable for whether automations actually run, leads actually route, and the system actually scales. When something breaks, you fix it or escalate with a fix already in motion. We won't hand you a ticket queue, and we won't check your hours. We look at whether the system works and continues to improve.
What you'll own
- The entire GoHighLevel environment, end to end
- Lead verification workflows โ quality gates that catch bad leads before they create refunds
- Refund rate and revenue attribution โ you'll have visibility into both and direct influence over them
- Workflows, automations and customer journeys across all brands
- Voice AI agents and conversational flows
- Webhooks, API integrations and third-party connections
- Deciding which tools GHL should absorb and retiring the rest
How you'll measure success
This role is not measured by tasks completed or hours logged. The metrics that matter:
- Refund rate โ you build the verification layer that reduces it
- Lead-to-close conversion โ your routing and follow-up directly affect this
- Revenue from automated channels โ the AI and workflow infrastructure you build should make this grow without headcount growing with it
- System uptime and reliability โ automations that break silently are as bad as those that were never built
- Clear documentation and process descriptions for everything you build โ not as bureaucracy, but as a standard that lets the system keep running and improving over time.
What we are looking for
- Deep, hands-on GoHighLevel experience โ this is the hard filter
- Voice AI and conversational workflow experience
- Experience building lead verification or quality-scoring systems is a strong plus
- A real track record of building automation people actually use
- Comfort owning ambiguity in a fast startup โ you'll be defining the function, not inheriting it
Not a fit: Salesforce or HubSpot admins, or anyone who's used GHL only occasionally. We need depth in this one platform.
