Field Service Engineer (Vision systems)

Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will combine on-site technical support for our local clients with remote assistance for global projects.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain vision and traceability systems on pharmaceutical packaging lines (both on-site in Ukraine and remotely worldwide). 
• Technical Support: Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, software and hardware debugging for PC-based and Windows systems. 
• Customer Training: Conduct technical training sessions for clients' engineering and production teams. 
• Analysis & Reporting: Create detailed technical reports, analyze system problems, and provide effective solutions. 

General Requirements: 
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field. 
• Languages: 
     • Ukrainian — Native/Fluent. 
     • English — Excellent spoken and written (B2+), capable of handling technical documentation and communication with global teams/clients.

Technical Skills: 
• Robust knowledge of Windows OS and PC hardware configuration. 
• Fundamental knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts and Microsoft SQL Server databases. 
• Good understanding of main Network Protocols. 

Mobility & Soft Skills: 
• Readiness for national and short international business trips (up to 50 days per year). 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, initiative, flexibility, and a goal-oriented mindset. 
• Excellent communication skills and a great teamwork attitude.

Experience: 
• Experience with Computer Vision / Vision Inspection systems (any industry or application is acceptable; specific pharmaceutical vision experience is a plus but not mandatory). 
• Understanding of packaging machines, packaging processes, or the pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage.
