Front-End Developer

Dotcode is looking for a Java developer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work with our friendly team on many interesting projects and be involved in architectural design and development as well, and other challenging and interesting tasks.

Must-have

• 1+ year of commercial React experience
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals: components, state management with hooks, controlled forms, rendering lists, and component composition.
• Confident HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience integrating REST APIs, including asynchronous data fetching, loading states, and error handling.
• Basic TypeScript (or a JS background and a real drive to learn TS on the job)
• Git + Github (branches, commits, pull requests)
• Willingness to work within an existing codebase and follow established patterns
• English sufficient to read documentation

Nice-to-have

• Experience with a UI framework and/or Tailwind CSS
• Familiarity with Zustand and/or TanStack Query
• Experience with React Hook Form and schema-based validation
• Experience writing unit tests (Vitest/Jest) and end-to-end tests (Playwright/Cypress)
• Experience building responsive layouts
