Senior .NET Engineer (Must have Fintech exp.)

Position overview
As a Senior .NET Engineer on the Fintech Core project, you will drive the development of key product modules within a modular white-label fintech platform designed for rapid deployment of digital banking and payment solutions. You will take ownership of technical implementation, architectural decisions, integration approaches, and engineering quality within one of the platform’s major client deployments.
 

The role requires deep expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and fintech integrations, with strong focus on scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability. You will work closely with Architects, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, and cross-functional development teams to design and implement high-performance microservice-based solutions that support complex financial operations.
 

This position is ideal for a proactive and technically strong engineer with hands-on experience in fintech or banking systems, who is capable of leading module-level development initiatives, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering excellence across the project.

Your Background

• 6+ years of commercial experience with .NET backend development
• Experience with fintech, banking, or payment systems
• Experience leading engineers as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Senior Engineer with ownership responsibilities
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and supporting technical growth
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and gRPC
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Kafka
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, clean coding principles, and engineering best practices
• Experience participating in architecture discussions and driving technical decisions
• Experience working closely with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams
• Experience with AWS is a plus
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of key backend modules within the Fintech Core platform
  Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET and ASP.NET Core
• Design and evolve microservice-based solutions and distributed architectures
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and gRPC integrations
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to the overall system architecture
• Own module delivery from technical design through production release
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and promote engineering best practices
• Support estimation, task decomposition, and technical planning
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, performance, and security
• Identify technical risks and proactively propose improvements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standards
