Java Software Engineer

Requirements:

• Basic to confident knowledge of Java;
• Understanding of databases and ability to work with SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL);
• Basic understanding of backend logic and REST API principles;
• Good communication skills and Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean and quality code following best practices;
• Implement backend functionality according to user stories and definition of done;
• Participate in estimation of tasks and user stories;
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing;
• Take part in code reviews;
• Follow project workflows and standards, and suggest improvements when needed.

Interview stages:

• HR interview (20 minutes)
• Technical interview (1 hour)
