Embedded Product Cybersecurity Engineer (Automotive)

Project Description

We are looking for a professional Embedded Product Cybersecurity Engineer to execute the complete software development life cycle for C software. The goal is to create scalable and optimized automotive software systems.

Our customer is an international company, one of the largest Tier 1 vendors for the automotive industry. The Company is cooperating with the world’s biggest car manufacturers, providing them with high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive automotive computing platforms and IVI systems.

As a part of the advanced engineering group, the team at GlobalLogic is working closely with the customer engineering team to develop an innovative automotive cockpit platform. The main responsibility is to develop and support the Instrument Cluster and Android-based multimedia system, middleware, and applications for the latest versions of Android OS.

Job Description

• Strong experience in embedded software development using C/C++ across RTOS, Linux, and Android platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Android security architecture, Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), TrustZone, and Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
• Strong understanding of security technologies, including secure boot, firmware signing, encryption, key management, PKI, and digital certificates.
• Knowledge of secure communication protocols such as TLS, IPsec, MACsec, SSH, CAN security, and secure Ethernet.
• Familiarity with ARM-based architectures, bootloaders, memory protection mechanisms, and JTAG/debug interfaces.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving SELinux, access control, and related security permission issues.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in hypervisor-based multi-VM environments.
• Automotive product development experience.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management processes and ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity standards

• Should be able to design solutions involving multiple services based on ambiguous requirements.
