Junior Backend Developer (Node.js / TypeScript) Offline

About the role

You'll build and maintain backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs in Node.js and TypeScript, working with databases and integrations, mentored by senior backend engineers.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs in Node.js (Express/NestJS)

- Write typed, tested TypeScript backend code

- Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) — queries, migrations

- Integrate third-party services and internal microservices

- Write unit/integration tests, participate in code reviews

- Use Git, Docker and CI/CD pipelines

Must-have

- Strong JavaScript + working TypeScript

- Node.js with Express or NestJS basics

- REST API design fundamentals

- SQL and a relational database (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

- Git basics

- English B2+

Nice-to-have

- NestJS (in depth), GraphQL, MongoDB

- Docker, CI/CD, message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)

- Cloud basics (AWS/GCP/Azure)
