Senior Full-Stack AI Product Engineer / AI Video Generation Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack AI Product Engineer / AI Video Generation Engineer.

About the Project

An AI-powered web platform that helps businesses create animated explainer videos faster and at scale.

The product guides users through the full video creation workflow — from prompt and business context, to script generation, storyboard creation, video generation, and further editing based on user feedback.

The first goal is to launch an MVP/demo quickly using existing AI tools and APIs, with a longer-term vision of potentially building a proprietary AI video generation engine.

Responsibilities:

- Build an MVP of an AI-powered video generation platform

- Create user workflows for prompts, scripts, storyboards, video generation, and revisions

- Integrate AI models/tools/APIs for text, image/storyboard, and video generation

- Develop the web application structure, including landing page, subscriptions, payments, and user area

- Build or integrate an AI chat-style interface for video creation workflows

- Evaluate and select AI tools for fast MVP delivery

- Advise founders on technical feasibility, risks, and timelines

- Iterate on the platform based on feedback and product metrics

- Prepare architecture for future scalability and proprietary AI engine development

- Communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Full-Stack Product Development / MVP SaaS

- 2+ years of experience with AI / LLM integrations and AI workflow automation

- 1+ year of experience with Generative Media / AI Video or Image Generation

- Strong experience with React / Next.js or similar frontend frameworks

- Experience with backend APIs, authentication, payments/subscriptions, and web app architecture

- Experience with OpenAI / Claude / Gemini APIs

- Experience with prompt engineering and multi-step AI workflows

- Experience building AI chatbot logic, script generation, and content generation workflows

- Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI services

- Experience with tools/APIs such as Runway, Pika, Luma, Kling, Replicate, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, or storyboard-to-video workflows

- Experience building MVPs or early-stage products from scratch

- Ability to work independently and communicate directly with non-technical founders

- Strong English communication skills
