Senior QA Engineer (EU/ USA/ Canada/ Turkey citizenship)

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a cross-functional team delivering a production-grade Frontend UX/UI programme for a major European alliance client in the DefTech space. 

You will be a part of impactful, secure and innovative tech solutions.
 

Required skills & stack:
 

• 5+ years in QA; 3+ years on modern JS/TS web frontends
• Strong test automation: Playwright (preferred), Cypress, or equivalent
• Accessibility testing: Axe, Lighthouse, manual screen reader / keyboard testing against WCAG 2.1 AA
• Visual regression testing with Percy or equivalent
• API & contract testing: Postman / Pact (consumer-driven contract tests)
• Solid understanding of the test pyramid — unit / integration / E2E / journey
• CI/CD integration with enforced coverage thresholds (failing threshold = blocked build)
• Strong written and spoken English; able to produce IV&V-ready test evidence and walkthrough recordings
   

Nice-to-have:
 

• Experience as QA counterpart to an external IV&V or audit party
• Performance testing (Lighthouse budgets, bundle regression detection)
• Security testing basics (OWASP awareness, dependency scanning)
• Familiarity with React + TypeScript codebases (reading, not writing)
• Storybook-driven journey walkthroughs and recorded evidence
   

Tasks to perform:

• Own component, integration, and E2E test coverage for the Project Y frontend
• Run the full test pipeline on every build: unit → integration → Playwright E2E → Axe/Lighthouse → Percy visual regression
• Enforce coverage thresholds in CI; a build that drops below threshold does not proceed
• Prepare IV&V-ready artefacts every sprint: Storybook walkthroughs, journey recordings, accessibility reports
• Triage IV&V findings within 48 hours; classify severity; coordinate resolution with PM and dev team
• Maintain consumer-driven contract tests (Pact) on the FE side of the pipeline
• Support PI-boundary TEVV sessions with Project Y, IV&V, and the Tallium team
