Senior Golang Engineer

Mabrook is a product company building a next-generation social platform. Our goal is to combine everything a modern user needs in one product: entertainment, booking, and a marketplace.

We are a team of around 30 people, distributed across Europe and the UAE.

We're looking for a Go developer to build new features and microservices for the platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-load microservices with a focus on low latency and resource efficiency.
• Design deterministic and predictable concurrent systems using Go.
• Conduct deep-dive code reviews, focusing on memory safety, allocation efficiency, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement robust unit and integration tests to ensure system stability under heavy load.
• Optimize database interactions and manage data integrity in a distributed environment.
   

Required Skills

• 6+ years of total backend development experience, including 3+ years of commercial experience with Go.
• Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with memory optimization.
• Solid experience with SQL.
• Understanding of predictable system design rather than just "Clean Architecture" templates.
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments (GCP/AWS).
   

Nice to Have

• Experience with profiling tools to debug CPU and memory leaks.
• Knowledge of binary protocols and efficient data serialization.
• Experience with distributed systems and message brokers.
• Background in low-level languages or systems engineering.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for deep system observability.
