Senior Backend .NET developer (French-speaking)

Acropolium, together with its international partners, is working on a healthcare platform focused on building a scalable, modern system based on microservices architecture.

The project involves developing robust backend services, integrating multiple data sources, and ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment.

You will join an international team contributing to a product with real-world impact in the healthcare domain, working with modern engineering practices, cloud technologies, and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core / .NET 8
• Build, improve, and support microservices-based solutions
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Work with SQL Server (T-SQL) and MongoDB
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure solution quality
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure improvements
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8
• Solid experience with microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP services
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL)
• Experience working with MongoDB
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as XUnit, Postman, Cypress, and Playwright
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD platforms
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and Terraform
• Experience using AI development assistants such as GitHub Copilot

Nice to Have

• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact repositories
• Strong testing culture and focus on software quality
• Experience supporting distributed international teams
