Full-Stack Engineer (Aviation sector)

We are developing a fast-growing, purpose-built CRM and automation platform tailored specifically for the aviation sector and flight training businesses. We take complex, legacy workflows and rebuild them into a modern, seamless experience that helps flight schools manage their pipelines, student enrollment, and communications.

 

​Currently, 70% of core features are completed. We are moving fast, scaling our user base, and looking for a high-caliber Full-Stack Engineer to take full ownership of the product architecture, lead the engineering efforts, and drive the platform to its next major milestones.

Tech Stack

​Our architecture is modern, serverless, and optimized for rapid deployment and reliability:

• ​Frontend: React, TypeScript
• ​Backend: Node.js
• ​Infrastructure: Vercel (Serverless)
• ​Database: Neon (Serverless Postgres)
• ​Key Integrations: Stripe, Postmark, Twilio, and Integrated E-Signatures (Dropbox Sign / Custom).

What You Will Do

• ​Full-Stack Development: Write clean, maintainable, and robust code across the entire stack (React/Node/TypeScript).
• ​Architectural Leadership: Own the technical roadmap, make key infrastructure decisions, and ensure the platform scales smoothly.
• ​Feature Ownership: Ship the remaining 30% of core functionality and continuously improve existing integrations (payments, communication logs, automated document signing).
• ​Team Growth & Mentorship: Oversee the work of current contractors and help shape the engineering culture as we scale the team.
• ​Product-Mindset Engineering: Work closely with the founder to translate business needs into flawless technical solutions for the aviation training industry.

​What We Are Looking For

• ​Senior/Lead Full-Stack Experience: Proven track record of building and scaling production-grade web applications from scratch using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• ​Serverless Expertise: Strong experience with Vercel serverless functions and modern cloud databases (experience with Neon/Postgres is a major plus).
• ​Integration Pro: Deep understanding of implementing and managing third-party APIs like Stripe (billing), Postmark (transactional emails), Twilio (SMS/comm), and E-sign workflows.
• Mindset: You don't just wait for tickets; you look at the product holistically, optimize workflows, and care deeply about the user experience.
• ​Autonomy: Ability to thrive in a lightweight, autonomous startup environment with minimal oversight.
