Subject Matter Expert in .NET
Infozahyst is a Ukrainian scientific and production center that has been developing software and hardware solutions for Ukraine’s security and defense forces for over 20 years.
We are engineers, analysts, and researchers united by a common goal: to create technologies that ensure Ukraine’s security.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of professional C# / .NET, 4+ years in a Senior, Tech Lead or Architect role with cross-team
scope.
• Deep knowledge of the CLR (memory model, GC, JIT, allocation patterns, finalization) and core C#
(generics, LINQ, expression trees, async/await internals, synchronization contexts, etc).
• Working knowledge of modern C# (8+): pattern matching, nullable reference types, records,
switch expressions, etc.
• Practical experience with .NET Framework → modern .NET migrations.
• Strong expertise in WPF (MVVM) and data-intensive desktop applications: virtualization, binding
cost, Freezable, Dispatcher patterns, custom controls and ControlTemplate, high-DPI and screen
scaling, UI Automation.
• Solid experience with multithreading: TPL, TPL Dataflow, synchronization primitives, lock-free
patterns, ThreadPool tuning.
• Experience building applications that process real-time streaming data from devices, sensors, or
network endpoints.
• Solid understanding of network programming: TCP/UDP, binary protocols, framing, backpressure,
reconnect logic.
• Hands-on experience with low-allocation patterns and SIMD in .NET: Span<T>, Memory<T>,
ArrayPool<T>, System.Numerics.Vector<T>, hardware intrinsics.
• Strong database skills: MS SQL Server, T-SQL, execution-plan analysis, EF Core, Dapper.
• Strong grasp of software design and architectural review: SOLID, GRASP, DDD, separation of
concerns, clean architecture, design patterns, focus on maintainability, testability, performance.
• Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures: big-O notation, collections trade-offs, graph
and dynamic-programming techniques where applicable to signal-processing tasks.
• Experience with profiling and diagnostics: dotTrace, dotMemory, Visual Studio Profiler, ETW /
PerfView, BenchmarkDotNet.
• Hands-on experience with unit / integration testing (including TestContainers), CI/CD pipelines,
quality gates.
• Proficient with Git and modern branching / code-review practices.
• Track record of horizontal expert work: setting standards, cross-team reviews, mentorship,
ownership of domain artifacts (competency matrix, tech radar, coding standards, lessons learned,
etc).
• Experience as an independent technical evaluator in hiring and Performance Review.
• Excellent communication and mentoring, able to defend technical positions in writing and in
discussion.
• English: B2 or higher.
Preferred Skills:
• DSP fundamentals: FFT, windowing, FIR / IIR filtering, spectral analysis, I/Q data.
• Radio engineering and SDR: modulation types, channel and noise models, baseband vs passband,
link-budget analysis, SDR architecture and sample-streaming interfaces.
• GPGPU (CUDA, OpenCL, ILGPU) for signal-processing workloads.
• Native interop in .NET: P/Invoke and C++/CLI for performance-critical code and hardware
integration.
• Public technical activity: articles, conference talks, open-source contributions, etc.
• Agile (Scrum / Kanban) with release-based planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-own the .NET competency matrix and domain tech radar with the Head of Engineering
Excellence Center.
• Author coding standards, review templates, checklists and reference solutions contributing deep
cross-domain expertise.
• Build and run internal enablement: lectures, workshops, mentorship.
• Provide expert consultation and architectural review across projects.
• Drive root-cause analysis of complex defects across .NET projects.
• Define release-readiness criteria within the domain.
• Design and run technical interviews, calibrate ratings across interviewers.
• Act as independent technical evaluator in Performance Review, support IDP design.
• Support pre-sale (assumptions, risks, recommendations), contribute to Project Brief and Project
Cost without owning delivery.
• Surface project problems suitable for a research track and hand them to the Head of Research
Programs.
• Represent the domain externally (articles, talks, meetups, recruiting brand, etc).
