Senior .Net Engineer

You will play a key role in the development and evolution of a large-scale enterprise platform focused on backend services, business process automation, and integrations between multiple internal and external systems.

The project combines existing enterprise applications with modern backend services developed using .NET 6–10. While the system heavily relies on Microsoft SQL Server, the strategic direction is to gradually move business logic from database-level implementations into maintainable and scalable C# backend services.

This role is primarily focused on backend development using modern .NET technologies, with SQL Server serving as an important part of the overall architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern .NET technologies (.NET 6+)
• Implement and maintain business logic in C#
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system design, integrations, and modernization initiatives
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server and existing database-level business logic
• Analyze existing SQL-based processes and participate in migrating business logic into backend services
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and other enterprise integration patterns
• Participate in architecture discussions and implementation of microservice-based solutions
• Follow engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
• Support junior and middle developers through technical guidance and collaboration

• Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q) to improve productivity and development workflows

   

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial .NET development experience
• Strong experience with modern .NET (.NET 6/7/8+)
• Strong understanding of backend application architecture and API development
• Solid experience with C#
• Good practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL
• Experience working with existing SQL-based business logic and integrations
• Experience with EF Core and/or Dapper
• Experience with REST APIs and backend integrations
• Experience with unit/integration testing
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and testing efficiency
• Experience with Docker
• Understanding of software architecture and modernization approaches
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
• Intermediate/B1 English level

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

   

Nice-to-have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with AWS Cloud Native development and familiarity with AWS services (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Fargate)
