UAV Pilot and Technician

We are looking for UAV Pilot & Technician for Defense Tech company.

This role combines drone piloting with hands-on technical work - preparing UAVs for flights, supporting testing activities, and maintaining systems in both lab and field environments.

You will work closely with engineers, participate in test flights and demonstrations, and help ensure systems are reliable and ready for real-world use.

Responsibilities:

• Operate UAVs (fixed-wing or multirotor) during test flights and demonstrations.
• Prepare UAVs for flight: basic setup, configuration checks, and pre-flight inspections.
• Assist in assembling, configuring, and calibrating UAV systems.
• Support ground and flight testing to verify system performance.
• Work with flight controllers (ArduPilot, iNav, Betaflight) for basic setup and tuning.
• Install and configure onboard components such as cameras, antennas, telemetry modules, and payloads.
• Work with communication protocols such as CRSF, MAVLink, SBUS, CAN, and UART (at a practical level).
• Understand basic radio communication principles (signal, interference, antennas).
• Identify and resolve technical issues in the field or during testing.

• Requirements:
  Experience operating UAVs (fixed-wing or multirotor).
• Basic technical understanding of UAV systems, electronics, and components.
• Experience with at least one UAV platform (ArduPilot, iNav, or Betaflight).
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Comfortable working in field conditions.
• Attention to detail and responsible attitude toward safety.
• English level B2 or higher - ability to communicate with international teams.
• Willingness to travel for testing and operational activities.
