Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js)

Job Description:
Travel insurance through a fully digital, data-driven platform that delivers real-time travel care, streamlined claims, and proactive disruption handling.
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help build and scale the core systems powering our products end-to-end. In this role, you’ll take ownership of backend services, design and develop robust, scalable architectures, and work closely with product and engineering teams to solve meaningful challenges that directly impact our customers and partners.

You’ll work with modern technologies including Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS, in a fast-moving environment that values strong engineering fundamentals, a product-driven mindset, and a passion for solving complex problems at scale.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance backend services that support web and mobile applications
Own backend features end-to-end
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented TypeScript code
Build and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data flows
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability and performance

Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years of backend development experience
Strong Node.js and TypeScript proficiency
Strong advantage for Nest.js experience
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational DBs
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
