Robotics AI
Webxloo, LLC is an international software development company that was founded in 2005 in Tampa, Florida USA. We have employees all around the world, and we are all bound by one goal: producing the best solutions for our customers.
We are building an AI-powered humanoid Kinetic robotics system customized for the automotive retail and wholesale services with real-world operational use cases. This role sits at the core of the system: connecting an existing proprietary management software running on large language model (LLM) agent to physical robot actions through robotics middleware OS, simulation environments, embedded control systems, and real humanoid appliances.
Tech Stack:
Python, ROS, ROS 1, ROS 2, OpenClaw / ROSClaw, Isaac Sim, NVIDIA Omniverse, MuJoCo, Gazebo, LLM APIs (Claude / OpenAI), Unitree SDK2, DDS (CycloneDDS), NVIDIA Jetson, STM32, Linux (Ubuntu), Git, MATLAB, CAD tools
Responsibilities:
- Integrate an existing LLM agent with ROS2-based robotic systems and middleware architectures
- Design and implement tool-calling interfaces that translate AI outputs into robot actions
- Build, configure, and maintain robotics simulation environments (Isaac Sim / MuJoCo / Gazebo / NVIDIA Omniverse)
- Develop and test robot behaviors in simulation, ensuring stability, reliability, and scalable deployment readiness
- Debug, iterate, and improve robot control logic, autonomy systems, and middleware communication pipelines
- Support sim-to-real transfer, including calibration, hardware validation, and performance tuning on physical robots
- Work closely with hardware, embedded systems, and AI components to ensure seamless system integration
- Collaborate on low-level hardware interaction and onboard compute integration using platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson and STM32-based systems
- Contribute to robotics software architecture decisions for scalable AI-driven humanoid robotics deployment
- Support robotics prototyping, kinematic analysis, and system validation workflows using MATLAB and CAD-based development processes
- Assist in sensor integration, actuator control, and robotics communication layers across ROS / ROS 1 / ROS 2 ecosystems
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong several years experience with ROS2 (topics, services, actions, TF2) and familiarity with broader ROS / ROS 1 robotics ecosystems
- Proficiency in Python (async programming, APIs, system integration)
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM systems with real-world robotic or automation applications
- Familiarity with robotics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo, or NVIDIA Omniverse
- Understanding of robot kinematics, motion planning, localization, and sensor feedback loops
- Experience working with Linux (Ubuntu) environments
- Strong debugging, robotics middleware, and distributed system integration skills
- Familiarity with onboard robotic compute platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson
- Exposure to embedded systems, microcontroller integration, or hardware communication protocols
- Good English communication skills (minimum B1/B2 level)
Preferred / Advantageous Experience:
- Experience working with Unitree robotics platforms or SDKs
- Familiarity with OpenClaw or similar robotic manipulation frameworks
- Prior sim-to-real transfer experience in robotics projects
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning (RL) in robotic control systems
- Experience with AR/VR systems, haptics integration, or immersive robotics simulation workflows
- Exposure to humanoid robotics or dexterous manipulation systems
- Experience with embedded systems development using STM32 or related microcontroller platforms
- Familiarity with VHDL or low-level hardware interfacing for robotics and control systems
- Experience using MATLAB for robotics modeling, simulation, or algorithm development
- Familiarity with CAD tools and robotics prototyping workflows
