Senior AQA Engineer (Banking Project)

Location: Baltic region (preferably Latvia)
Workload: Full-time
Duration: 3+ months
Start Date: June/July 2026
English Level: B2+

We are looking for a Senior AQA Engineer to join a long-term banking project. The ideal candidate has strong experience in both manual and automated testing, is able to work independently, and has solid knowledge of backend and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing across frontend and backend systems
• Conduct integration and REST API testing
• Execute and maintain UI end-to-end testing
• Build and maintain automated test solutions
• Drive testing activities independently for assigned features
• Contribute to test and solution documentation
• Collaborate closely with Lead QA and development teams

Required Technical Skills

• Selenium (Java) — mandatory
• TestNG — mandatory
• MS SQL / SQL knowledge — mandatory
• Postman — mandatory
• GitHub — mandatory
• Playwright — optional, but considered a strong advantage

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in banking or fintech projects
• Experience working in distributed international teams

We are also open to considering strong Middle-level engineers with relevant experience.
