Acropolium is looking for a Senior .NET Full-Stack Engineer to join a long-term enterprise project focused on maintaining and improving existing business systems.
This is not a greenfield development role.
The main focus is working with mature enterprise platforms, understanding existing architecture, supporting ongoing development, resolving production issues, and gradually modernizing the system together with the team.
We are looking for engineers who feel comfortable in legacy environments, can quickly understand complex business logic, and make pragmatic technical decisions.

Responsibilities
 

  • Support and maintain existing enterprise applications
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production and business issues
  • Develop new features within existing systems
  • Participate in gradual modernization and refactoring initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, QA engineers, and developers
  • Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
  • Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and code reviews


Requirements
 

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with C# / .NET
  • Strong experience with legacy enterprise applications
  • Experience supporting and improving existing business systems
  • Solid knowledge of ASP.NET / .NET Core
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Frontend experience with Angular or React
  • Understanding of APIs and microservices architecture
  • Experience working in enterprise environments
  • German language β€” B2+ level (spoken and written)
  • English β€” good working level


Nice to Have
 

  • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with message brokers or distributed systems
  • Understanding of monolith modernization approaches
  • Experience in long-term support and maintenance projects
