Senior DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure, Security and Compliance)

About Uncapped Fintech providing revenue-based financing to digital businesses, mostly US ecommerce sellers. 70 people across London, Atlanta and Warsaw. Fully remote.
 

The role A senior position broader than a typical DevOps remit. You'll join our existing DevOps engineer and own infrastructure alongside the wider tech footprint: third-party tool access, security posture, and the ISO 27001 / SOC 2 programme we're rolling into. The mandate covers DevOps, IT security, vendor access governance and compliance readiness in one role.
 

What you'll do

• Run and evolve cloud infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform / IaC)
• Lead third-party tool access management across the company (SSO, provisioning, audit trails)
• Drive day-to-day security posture and prepare for ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certification
• Shape reliability, on-call practices and developer experience for 15 engineers
• Partner with EMs and product on tooling and platform decisions

What we're looking for

• 7+ years DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering experience
• Strong GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Practical security engineering background (IAM, secrets, vulnerability management)
• Exposure to or appetite for compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI)
• Comfortable being a senior voice on a small infra function and influencing across the whole company
   

Nice to have

• Fintech or regulated industry experience
• Previous ownership of an ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audit
• Python or Go scripting
   

Team & setup Engineering is 15 engineers, 3 EMs and 4 PMs. Engineering hub is Poland with some hybrid from our Warsaw office. Fully remote works too, since we're a fully remote company.
