Manual QA Engineer (Web/Mobile)

Project: web and mobile application in the finance and banking space for a UK-based client. Long-term, remote, with overlap on UK business hours.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial QA experience.
• Proven experience setting up QA processes from scratch.
• Hands-on testing of web and mobile apps (iOS and Android).
• Experience with finance, banking, or payment products.
• Experience leading or mentoring a QA team.
• Confident with test design, bug tracking, and test management tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail / Testiny / Qase or similar).
• Comfortable with API testing (Postman, Charles, Proxyman).
• English: Strong Intermediate+ (B2+), good written and spoken communication.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with UK or EU clients.

• Familiarity with fintech compliance topics (PCI DSS, PSD2, KYC/AML, GDPR).

   

Responsibilities:

• Plan and run manual testing for web and mobile.
• Own and improve the QA process on the project.
• Lead a small QA team and mentor team members.
• Work directly with developers, product, and the client.
• Report on quality, risks, and release readiness.
