QA Engineer (Manual + Automation Support)

Poklyk is a product company specializing in developing and advancing our web and mobile applications, Orderry and RO App, designed for SME automation. Our services empower businesses to streamline processes and embrace a more technological approach.

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who takes genuine ownership of quality within a dedicated product team. This isn’t a role about running scripts and filing tickets — you’ll be the person your team turns to when something doesn’t feel right, proactively shaping how quality is built into the product rather than bolted on at the end. Most of your work will be hands-on manual testing, with enough technical depth to handle straightforward automation issues and collaborate effectively with our Automation QA team.

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in manual testing of web applications
• Strong experience creating test cases, checklists, and bug reports
• Ability to investigate issues independently using browser devtools, logs, and API tools
• Hands-on experience with Linux
• Experience working with Postman
• Basic experience with Python and pytest
• Understanding of UI/API automated testing basics and Page Object Model
• Comfort working closely with developers and product managers in a cross-functional team — including pushing back when quality risks are high

Nice to have:

• Experience with Playwright
• Experience in maintaining existing automated tests
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Experience with test management systems such as Testomat or TestRail
• Familiarity with Locust
• Basic SQL knowledge

Responsibilities

• Own quality within your product team — define what “ready to ship” looks like and hold that bar
• Proactively identify gaps in test coverage and propose process improvements before they become incidents
• Act as the quality voice during planning and grooming sessions, raising risks early
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Report bugs, verify fixes, and monitor feature stability after release — initiating follow-up when needed
• Investigate defects using logs, APIs, and technical analysis
• Analyze failed automated tests, identify root causes, and resolve straightforward issues independently
• Collaborate with the Automation QA team on more complex automation tasks, acting as a bridge between your product team and the AQA department
