Lead QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a talented Lead QA Automation Engineer with a passion for delivering the highest quality mobile and web apps.

As part of our team, you will be building automated QA pipelines for our existing products. You’ll be responsible for ensuring swift and stable product releases by performing automated cross-platform testing (Web, Mobile, API) and improving our CI/CD pipelines to maintain fast delivery pace.

What you’ll be working on

• Work closely with the existing manual QA teams to identify the most obvious and impactful QA automation opportunities.
• Set up an infrastructure for QA automation.
• Speed up delivery times using automated testing across company’s products.
• Convert the existing manual QA teams into automated QA units.
• Develop automated QA live agents to test and observe live products.

About you

• 4+ years of experience in automation QA.
• Strong experience with mobile, web, and API testing.
• Strong background in manual QA is highly desirable.
• Solid proficiency with QA and AQA tools (Playwright, Appium, etc.).
• Proficiency with QA documentation (test cases, bug reports, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
• Leadership and ownership mindset.
• English B1 or higher.

Step by step for this position:

1. Screening call (up to 1 hour): Position discussion, check basic competencies, and culture fit.
2. Technical interview (2 hours): Detailed сase approach to identify experience, technical skills, and core competencies.
3. Referral: Recommendations from the previous workplace.
4. Full-day interview (up to 6 hours): A workday simulation. You’ll be working with your future team members, will explore the codebase that you’ll be working on, and will be fixing/resolving several real work issues.
5. Final interview with CEO and CTO (30 minutes): Summarize experience and assess alignment with the company’s strategic goals. It’s the best time for any final questions.
6. Offer call (30 minutes): Discussion of a Job Offer Proposal.
