Node.js with Azure

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join a cloud-focused engineering team building scalable backend services and modern distributed solutions in Microsoft Azure.

In this role, you will work on the development of high-performance APIs, cloud-native applications, and integrations across modern Azure services. The ideal candidate has strong backend expertise with Node.js and TypeScript, experience designing scalable systems, and confidence working in Agile, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Develop cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Integrate Azure services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, and App Services
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions

• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver business-focused solutions

   

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend systems
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Experience building REST API services
• Good understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Familiarity with messaging systems and event streaming platforms
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments
• Understanding of AI/LLM-based integrations is a plus
