Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to help maintain and improve an ecommerce platform built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, while also participating in the transition to Salesforce Storefront Next. This role combines day-to-day frontend development with contributions to long-term platform modernization initiatives.

You will be involved in developing customer-facing functionality, improving responsive user interfaces, and supporting ongoing platform enhancements. The position offers the opportunity to work with both established technologies such as ISML, JavaScript, and jQuery, as well as modern frontend tools and frameworks including React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and headless commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver new functionality
● Maintain high standards of code quality and browser compatibility
● Contribute to frontend architecture improvements and engineering best practices
● Help create scalable and performant ecommerce experiences
● Develop and maintain frontend features within Salesforce Commerce Cloud
● Work with ISML templates, content assets, and Page Designer components
● Build responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, BEM, JavaScript, and jQuery
● Improve user experience across desktop and mobile devices
● Participate in releases, bug fixing, and optimisation activities
● Support the transition to Salesforce Storefront Next
● Gain exposure to modern frontend technologies and practices: React, TypeScript,
Tailwind CSS, React Router
● Headless commerce architecture
● Vite, pnpm, and Git
● Work with Salesforce Commerce APIs (SCAPI) and REST APIs

Must-have skills:
● Commercial experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
● Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and familiarity with ISML templates
● Experience building responsive customer-facing applications
● Good debugging and problem-solving skills
● Experience with Git and JIRA
● Knowledge of React, TypeScript, and API integrations
● Ecommerce domain experience
● Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills
● Fluent English
