Junior Manual QA Engineer

We are currently looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join projects for our existing and new clients. We are looking for a specialist who can contribute to various web-oriented products depending on business needs and project directions.

The team works in an Agile/Scrum environment with close collaboration between QA engineers, developers, PMs, and stakeholders. We value attention to detail, willingness to grow in software testing, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

• 1+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
• Understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
• Experience with web application testing.
• Skills in requirements analysis, test design, test case execution, and defect reporting.
• Experience working with bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture and REST API principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.

• English level: Pre-Intermediate or higher.

   

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and related documentation for testing purposes.
• Participate in daily team activities and Scrum ceremonies.
• Collaborate with the team on testing planning and estimations.
• Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports).
• Perform functional and regression testing of web applications.
• Detect, document, verify, and escalate bugs and production issues.
• Work closely with developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide feedback regarding product quality and usability.
• Assist the team with business and technical insights during testing activities.

• Work effectively with debugging and issue investigation processes.

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
• Understanding of browser DevTools.
• Experience testing responsive web applications.

• Basic SQL knowledge.
