๐ก Why we are hiring
Our project is scaling rapidly, and regression testing is becoming heavier. We already have an excellent QA Engineer who ensures zero critical bugs reach production. However, to give her room to grow and improve our overall processes, we need a reliable teammate to take over a significant portion of manual testing and bring a fresh perspective to our product.
๐ Key Responsibilities
- Manual testing of new e-commerce features and integrations.
- Conducting deep regression testing before production releases.
- Requirement Analysis: Participating in feature grooming and reviewing primary documentation to highlight potential edge cases before development starts.
- Deep Investigation: Analyze server logs, inspect database records (optionally with backend team support), and accurately isolate and report backend issues.
- Creating high-quality, reproducible bug reports.
- Assisting the team in structuring and maintaining QA documentation.
๐ฅ About the Team & Culture
We are a compact, highly driven dev team (remotely - Backend, Frontend, QA and CTO in Ukraine) that works closely with Account Manager and COO from South Africa. We don't do micromanagement; we operate on hyper-responsibility. We are the kind of people who don't ask for permission to investigate a complex issue. We argue with reason, reach a consensus, and respect each other's opinion and time.
- Internal communication: Ukrainian/Russian.
- Client communication, documentation, and Daily Stand-ups: English.
๐ฏ The Mindset We Are Looking For
- Deep Responsibility. We prefer you to test slowly and thoughtfully rather than rushing and missing obvious edge cases.
- High Autonomy. You know how to google and use AI, read documentation, and think logically before bringing a question to anyone. However, during probation period all sorts of questions are welcomed.
- Initiative. We welcome fresh ideas, but we always align on the boundaries first to ensure they bring value, not chaos.
