Required skills:

  • 1,5+ year of experience in web/mobile application testing (FE; basic BE understanding is enough).
  • Good knowledge of the software testing process and basic QA lifecycle.
  • Understanding of functional testing and its core subtypes (smoke, e2e, regression, sanity, exploratory).
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and the development lifecycle (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience writing test documentation: checklists, test cases, bug reports, test reports, test plans.
  • Understanding of task estimation principles and approaches
  • Understanding of REST API concepts and experience in API testing (Postman);
  • Basic SQL knowledge (simple SELECTs, filtering, sorting, β€” enough to validate data).
  • High attention to detail and a responsible approach to assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work independently on small tasks, ask for help on complex ones.
  • Ability to actively communicate blockers, missing requirements, and risks.
  • Ability to give straightforward feedback and ask clarifying questions without fear.
  • Strong attention to details and sense of responsibility

Tools

Experience with:

  • Task tracking tools (Jira, YouTrack, Asana etc.)
  • Test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray β€” at least one)
  • API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, Swagger, DevTools)
  • Version control systems (Git)

Responsibilities

β€” Requirements analysis and processing;
β€” Identifying and reporting issues;
β€” Holding and reporting a regular status of the test progress;
β€” Creating test documentation of different levels(test cases, checklists, bug reports);
β€” Assisting PO, QA Lead with creation of project documentation (guides, tutorials, etc)
β€” Assist in the development and maintenance of an effective QA process within the software group;
β€” Conduct cross-browser and UI/UX testing to ensure consistency across all major web browsers;
β€” Conduct API testing, basic performance testing
β€” Communication with the project team and QA department

Nice to have
β€” Experience testing simple CMS/CRM flows (not mandatory, but a plus).
β€” Experience testing AI-Gen applications
β€” Desire to grow toward automation in the future (nice to have, not required).
β€” Ability to perform basic SEO and core web vital checks
