Senior Mulesoft Integration Specialist (API - Enterprise Integration)

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise integration initiatives, with a primary focus on MuleSoft-based solutions and API-driven architectures. The background should include participation in platform modernization programs, development and support of complex integration ecosystems, and continuous improvement of enterprise integration landscapes.

Key Role In Integration Programs:

Serves as an integration specialist contributing across multiple phases of integration initiatives, from early discovery and design discussions to implementation, stabilization, and ongoing support.

Regularly collaborates with business analysts, architects, and operations teams to clarify integration requirements, identify risks early, and ensure solutions remain maintainable over time.

Known for taking ownership of integration components and following them through their full lifecycle.

Core Competencies And Expertise:

MuleSoft & API Engineering:

Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across a variety of integration use cases

Practical application of API-led architecture to support loosely coupled systems and incremental platform evolution

Development and consumption of RESTful and SOAP-based services

Confident work with JSON and XML payloads, including transformation and validation using DataWeave

Experience enhancing existing integrations through refactoring, improved error handling, and performance tuning

Data, Migration & Backend Systems

Involvement in data migration and data synchronization initiatives as part of broader system transformations

Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, used for validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis

Experience navigating complex data models and resolving cross-system data inconsistencies

Exposure to integrations involving CRM, ERP, and operational platforms

Regular interaction with business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements and align expectations

Ability to explain integration concepts in a clear and structured manner to mixed audiences
