Junior Backend Engineer (Node.js) — Remote SaaS Product

We are a fast-growing remote-first SaaS company helping brands transform static content into searchable digital experiences.

We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer who is eager to learn, take ownership, and grow in a fast-paced product environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) to build and improve backend features
• Support development and maintenance of scalable backend services using Node.js
• Help improve platform performance, reliability, and stability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot issues with guidance from senior engineers
• Learn internal systems, tools, and best practices while actively participating in team discussions

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience with Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Basic understanding of backend concepts: APIs, databases, system design
• Strong willingness to learn and grow under mentorship
• Comfortable working in a remote asynchronous environment
• Ownership mindset and proactive communication
• English level: B2+

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of REST APIs and/or microservices
• Interest in data processing or parsing pipelines
• Basic frontend experience (React) is a plus
