Senior Ecommerce Growth Engineer (Shopify Plus + AI)

Our team of designers, developers, solutions architects, and e-comm consultants is growing, and we are looking for more talented people to join our team. We launch and optimize Shopify Plus stores for some of the best DTC brands globally.

The role and responsibilities:

Ecommerce Growth Engineer is a hybrid role, the combination of these things:
 

• Building and maintaining Shopify Plus stores: themes (Liquid, Online Store 2.0), custom sections, app integrations, performance with Claude Code and Figma MCP.
• Implementing and improving subscription strategies: selling plans, bundle logic, switcher UX, retention flows.
• Read, interpret, and own data. Shopify reports, GA4, A/B tests analytics. Reading and reporting on store metrics and recommending the next move.
• Setting up and running A/B tests (Intelligems or equivalent), maintaining control/test parity, interpreting results.
• Owning post-launch quality: pre-launch checklists, end-to-end merchant and customer walkthroughs, bug logging.
   

Skills required:

• Strong Shopify Plus development and front-end skills: Liquid, theme architecture, sections/blocks, Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL). HTML, CSS, JavaScript at production level.
• Fluent in the Shopify ecosystem and apps, with in-depth understanding of subscriptions: Recharge, Skio, Stay.AI, or Shopify.
• Fluent in analytics: Shopify reports, GA4 basics, conversion funnels, cohorts.
• AI-native workflow: Claude Code, MCP integrations (Figma + Notion is a minimum).
• Great communication skills: spoken and written English. We are direct-to-client.
