Senior Javascript Automation Test Engineer

Department/Project Description

Our client is an innovative manufacturer of medical devices in the United States, producing devices and software applications.

In this project, you will have a great opportunity to be involved in the full development life cycle of medical software, which is designed to assist individuals by processing information from medical devices to identify health trends and track daily activities. In addition, there are opportunities to work with medical devices, in the scope of end-to-end testing.

Must have:

• 5+ years in test automation, with 2+ years hands-on with Playwright and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of page object pattern and layered framework architecture
• Experience with API testing (REST)
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Solid QA fundamentals: black-box, regression, risk-based, and exploratory testing

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience with Java-based automation (Selenium, RestAssured, Serenity)
• AWS familiarity
• Experience in healthcare or regulated software domains
• Open mindset toward AI developments in software testing

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable Playwright/TypeScript test automation framework
• Write and maintain automated test scripts
• Perform manual testing including exploratory, regression, risk-based, and system testing
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and defect triage
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to test reporting and quality metrics
