Node.js Engineer (GraphQL)

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Node.js Engineer to join our team and work on a middleware platform that connects applications with smart devices

In this role, you’ll be building APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScript, helping create a reliable layer between devices and user-facing applications. If you enjoy working with scalable backend systems, APIs, and solving real-world integration challenges, this could be a great fit

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
• Designing APIs (GraphQL and REST) used by web and mobile applications
• Working on communication between services and connected devices (no deep hardware knowledge required) IoT
• Improving performance, reliability, and scalability of the system

• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end

   

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of building APIs (GraphQL and/or REST)
• Experience with asynchronous systems (e.g. event-driven architecture, messaging, or real-time features)
• Comfortable working with modern backend architectures and distributed systems

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience with IoT or device communication
