The project is a data-driven platform for a well-established international client in the financial services domain. The platform helps internal teams work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data, supporting analytics, data processing, and business decision-making.

The product is a data system that includes dynamic user-facing functionality, APIs, cloud services, and features that help users interact with complex financial and analytical data in a more efficient way.

About the role:

We are looking for a Full-stack Node.js Engineer with a strong backend focus to help build scalable, API-driven services and product features.

The role is mainly focused on Node.js backend development, AWS-based services, PostgreSQL database work, and end-to-end feature ownership. Frontend experience is also important, as the engineer should be comfortable working with modern frontend frameworks and understanding how backend decisions affect the user experience.

Requirements:
Must have:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backend development
• Experience building REST APIs, services, or microservices
• Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Practical experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, and API Gateway
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework: React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience owning features end-to-end, from requirements and implementation to release
• Good understanding of scalable, maintainable, cloud-native application architecture
• Ability to work in an international team and communicate clearly in English

Nice to have:

• Exposure to AI/ML-related product features or data-driven functionality
• Experience working with data extraction, data processing, or analytics-related products
• Experience in financial services, consulting, investment, or enterprise technology projects
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience with performance optimization and database query tuning
• Previous experience building internal platforms, dashboards, workflow tools, or user-facing business applications
