Senior Python Developer

Hard skills requirements (including years):

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python with strong API design experience
• Strong experience with AI / ML-enabled products, including integration of machine learning models, AI services, or data pipelines supporting AI-driven functionality
• Proven experience building distributed systems and high-throughput backend services
• Strong experience with AWS (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience implementing event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing
• Experience designing data ingestion, replication, or ETL-style pipelines
• Strong understanding of system architecture and schema design
• Practical hands-on experience with AI prompt engineering, leveraging ArgumentCode, ClaudeCode, Cursor, or equivalent developer-AI tools.
• Solid understanding of LLM context design, tool integration, and code-generation workflows

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering: Build and maintain a custom API using Python and design services for large-scale data ingestion and replication.
• Cloud-Native Delivery: Deploy containerised services via Docker and Kubernetes while integrating AWS services (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS).
• System Architecture: Implement event-driven patterns using queues and asynchronous processing.
• Quality & Reliability: Implement automated testing (unit, integration, performance) and ensure robust monitoring, logging, and failure recovery patterns.
• Collaboration: Work within agile ceremonies and align closely with DevOps on infrastructure and release processes.

English level: at least Upper Intermidiate
