Trainee Automation Test engineer (Python)

Project Description

The system is based on microservice architecture and is running on the general purpose CPUs. CableOS is a pioneer in DOCSIS software defined networking (SDN) with all the benefits it gives to the service providers.

Job Description

• 0+ years of experience
• Knowledge of Python programming (optional)
• Understanding of OOP principles
• Understanding and knowledge of computer networks and L2/L3 networking protocols
• Basic hands-on experience with Linux command-line
• Intermediate level of English
• High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different groups

Would be a plus:

• Experience in manual/auto software testing
• Experience in Linux/Network administration
• Experience with tools: TestRail, Jenkins, Jira, Git, BitBucket, WireShark
• Experience with PyTest framework
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
• Knowledge of SQL, Elasticsearch

Job Responsibilities

• Active collaboration with mentor
• Deep involvement in the commercial project workflow and practical tasks
• Design, implementation and maintenance of automation tests according to given requirements
• Develop in the existing automation infrastructure based on Python for complex embedded system
• Cooperate with SW, manual QA and other stakeholders from different countries
