gRPC / API Engineer, Kubernetes Provisioning

We are looking for an experienced gRPC / API Engineer, Kubernetes Provisioning. 

This role owns the API layer that connects the Kubernetes lifecycle platform to the rest of the business.
 

What This Person Will Build

•  gRPC and REST APIs for seat/workspace provisioning, deprovisioning, cluster inventory, and node health.
•  Idempotent provisioning flows that create Kubernetes namespaces, quotas, and policy objects 
• Mock servers and client SDKs so dependent teams can build before the full platform is ready
• API validation, error models, retry semantics, load tests, and contract tests
•  Integration tests against live Kubernetes clusters and downstream systems

Must-Have Background

• Strong Go backend experience with gRPC, protobuf, REST, and API design
•  Kubernetes API experience: namespaces, ResourceQuota, RBAC, NetworkPolicy, admission flows, or multi-tenant cluster design
•  Experience with idempotency, concurrency, retries, partial failure, and contract testing
•  Strong testing discipline, including mocks, generated clients, integration tests, and load tests
• Ability to document APIs clearly for other engineering teams

Nice to Have 

•  Experience building internal platform APIs, developer platforms, control planes, Kubernetes operators, or infrastructure-as-a-service APIs
