Senior/Lead AQA Engineer with Python(IRC294812)

Required Qualifications::

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of commercial experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with automation framework design and implementation.
• Proficient in Python, Pytest and Playwright for automated UI/API testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and reporting tools (e.g., Allure, ReportPortal).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, test methodologies, and QA processes.
• Experience with load and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of proactiveness and the ability to drive tasks independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations

Preferred Skills:

• Basic familiarity with Apache JMeter for load and performance testing, supporting the evaluation of system behavior under stress.
• Foundational understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, particularly as they relate to hosting and scaling test environments.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications, which can be beneficial for managing complex test infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of AI agent tools such as Claude, and experience of using them for AQA work

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Automation Test Engineer who will take the lead in designing, managing and implementing an automation testing strategy adopting AI technology. This role requires a proactive and solution-oriented individual who can independently propose ideas, drive initiatives forward, manage other QA engineers and their tasks, and clearly demonstrate the value of automation testing to both internal teams and our client.

You will play a critical role in shaping our QA processes and ensuring high product quality through smart, scalable automation solutions. Some of your duties will include but not limited to

• Design and build automation frameworks and tools for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation strategies aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain high-quality automated test suites using Python and Playwright.
• Ensure robust test coverage through well-structured, reusable test cases.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.
• Contribute to performance and load testing initiatives using tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Analyze test results and generate comprehensive reports using test case management and reporting tools.
• Advocate for test automation best practices across development teams.
• Communicate effectively with internal and client stakeholders, clearly articulating automation approaches, benefits, and results.
• Managing, reviewing, and improving the QA related documentation and work of other QA engineer
• Adopting AI tools to implement automated tests for existing client manual tests for existing services.
• Adopting AI tools to establish and maintain AI-driven Self-Healing CI/CD
